Dra. Claudia Albornoz
MD, CHI

Doctor Claudia Albornoz, is a Chilean doctor, with degree from Universidad de Chile. She is a specialist in General Surgery (Universidad Católica de Chile) and in Plastic and Reparative Surgery (Universidad de Chile). Dr. Albornoz has a Master Degree in Clinic Epidemiology from Universidad de Los Andes, and a Fellowship in Microsurgery and Breast Reconstruction from Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.     

Dr. Eric Auclair
MD, FRA

An intern at the hospitals in Paris, former Clinical Head of the Faculty of Medicine of Paris, holding a Degree from the French College of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic surgery; Dr. Eric Auclair has been practicing for more than twenty-five years. During his hospital training, he was recognized by the French plastic surgeons who are among the most prominent of that time. He is a member of the French Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SOFCPRE). In 2012, he was President of the French Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SOFCPRE).

Dr. Eric Santamaria
MD, MEX

Eric Santamaria M.D., is Professor of Reconstructive Microsurgery of the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico and Associate Professor of the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Hospital General Dr. Manuel Gea Gonzalez and the Insituto Nacional de Cancerologia in Mexico City. He did a 3-year fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, in Taipei, Taiwan and at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. As an accomplished clinician, his expertise focuses on surgery of the Breast, Head and Neck and extremity reconstruction.

Dr. Horácio Mayer
MD, ARG

Dr. Horacio F. Mayer earned his Medical Degree from the National Northeastern University (UNNE) in Corrientes (Argentina). He completed his residency in General Surgery at the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, University of Buenos Aires (UBA), one of Argentina’s leading hospitals.

He then served a Plastic Surgery residency at the 38th Infirmary of the Santa Casa General Hospital alongside world renowned Professor Ivo Pitanguy in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), where he was appointed Chief Resident. He also did a Research Fellowship in Plastic Surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston (USA), under the mentoring of Professor Dennis P. Orgill.

Currently he holds an appointment as Associate Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Plastic Surgery of the Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires (affiliated to the University of Buenos Aires and to the Hospital Italiano University Institute). He is the Vice Director of the Residency Program in Plastic Surgery (Hospital Italiano Academic Unit, University of Buenos Aires), one of the most sought-after programs in Argentina.

Dr. Mayer also holds an appointment as an Assistant Professor of the Post-Graduate Program in Plastic Surgery of the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro (UniRio) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and has served as a Visiting Professor for the Campus Bio-Medico Universitá di Roma (Rome, Italia) and the University of the Republic (UDELAR), Montevideo, Uruguay. He has lectured in different countries of America, Europe, Asia and Africa including the USA, the UK, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, Italy, South Korea, Egypt, Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Peru and Uruguay. He is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, his mother tongue.

Dr. Mayer is Editor-in-Chief of the European Journal of Plastic Surgery (EJPS) published by Springer Verlag, Heidelberg (Germany). Dr. Mayer has also authored eight book chapters and over 30 scientific articles in a variety of distinguished plastic surgery books and journals including “Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery” (PRS), “Journal of Plastic Reconstructive Aesthetic Surgery” (JPRAS), “Aesthetic Surgery Journal” (ASJ), “Aesthetic Plastic Surgery” (APS), “European Journal of Plastic Surgery” (EJPS), “Scandinavian Journal of Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery” and “Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery” (JRM).

Dr. Mayer is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a member of the Argentine Society of Plastic Aesthetic Reconstructive Surgery (SACPER), the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery (FILACP), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), International Confederation of Plastic Surgery Societies (ICOPLAST) and the Ivo Pitanguy  Alumni Association (AEXPI). Dr. Jaume Masìa

Dr. Masià is a reputed specialist in Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has over 18 years of experience. He is a professor in the Department of Surgery of the Faculty of Medicine of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Likewise, he also develops an important research and dissemination task, being president of the Spanish Group of Advanced Breast Reconstruction (GERMA). Dr. Mark Clemens

Mark W. Clemens, MD, FACS, is on the Plastic Surgery faculty of MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas in Houston. Dr. Phillip Blondeel
